This book took so long to finish because I kept preferring to look at my phone than read this book which is always an indicator to me that I don’t love this book. The last 100 pages picked up steam. Interesting concept about Grace’s powers. Glad to be done so I can move on to the next book.

Fun story about a retired maths teacher who is faced with a whole new reality and rises to the challenge. Lots of riffs on mathematics and natural sciences throughout.

I love stories like this. Uplifting, odd, a heavy pinch of magical realism, and gall darn it if I don't love an old person main character. Audiobook was phenomenal, btw. Also there's a goat named Nostradamus.

Loved the midnight library, but not this. I did like the environmental theme. A bit preachy, more telling/lecture than showing.

This book meanders to its central theme and purpose, which makes it hard to get into for me. But the end is a triumph and a comfort.

I found this bit of a whirlwind story entertaining and enjoyable to read. I liked reading a novel from the point of view of an older woman, a good perspective shift.

I was bored and just not engaged for most of this book. Not a memorable one for me.
