The writing, the storyline was really good. The characterisation was great it made you fall in love with the main characters even if vicious was a bully.
The only thing missing was more sex and more details about the sex scenes lol

So much hate, so much pain, so much meanness, and lots of love and intense anger wrapped in a book. I loved this book. I loved Vicious, I loved Emilia, I loved Dean, I loved Trent, I loved Jamie. Even though it was Vic and Help love story, it developed other characters well. Right pace and the story I was gripping my kindle wanting and dying to know what is gonna happen. The anticipation of every interaction between Vicious and Emilia was worth it!
okay this was definitely a better novel than “Pretty Reckless” i don’t know if it was because the characters were older or something or the plot was slightly better or maybe the romance was just right (we loved good enemies to lovers to enemies to friends to bf/gf to fiancé romance)
there were just some plot issues that I felt were a little tooo soap opera-esk and made the plot feel cheap (not to mention another HORRIBLE HORRIBLE nickname-seriously is this what the author is known for?-“HELP” HER NICKNAME IS HELP WHOMST THOUGHT THIS WAS FINE?? I JUSY WANNA TALK)

When I read this first in 2018, I gave the book 3 stars. Having now read the entire series (and it's spinoff), I decided to come back and read this one again. I wanted to know what it is about these characters that compelled me to read the series. I have to say, I enjoyed the book much more the second time around. The high-school years are still troublesome, but I loved Vic's transformation in the second half of the book. Is he still an alphahole? Absolutely! However, I did notice more of his softening towards Emilia when I read it this time and can now fully see that his upbringing did so much damage to him, he truly didn't know HOW to express his feelings.

Vicious is a dark romance novel and it's the perfect mix of smut, romance, and plot. I absolutely adore Vicious. This book is about childhood enemies Vicious and Emilia, who turned into adults who hate each other.
Emilia is the FMC who grew up as the "Help" because her parents worked for Vicious's family. She grows up and goes to New York with her sister and works a few jobs to support herself and her sick sister. After not seeing Vicious for years, she runs into him and he gives her an offer she would be stupid to refuse. She is stubborn, smart, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Especially when it comes to Vicious.
Vicious is the MMC and he is dark, twisted, and full of childhood trauma. He is a childhood bully who grows up to become a lawyer. He hates the "Help" from the first time they met, and he is not afraid to let her know that. However he still can't seem to let her get away from him, and he might just need her help.
The banter is simply to die for. The plot is interesting and tells a great story, and the world-building is good. It is easy to get invested early in the story. This book is medium-paced. I would say the spice is a three out of five. Love, love, love this book!

I was addicted... but it’s another bully type romance!
I don’t know how to feel about this book, because the romance was truly there, but there were some parts where it really got boring or predictable. However, it was still a good book.
2.9*
it was good but like I didn't enjoy it a lot ykwim. it was like she was with him bc she felt the need to nd because he's an asshole.
I liked millie though she was a good character

I really liked Vicious. His character was unapologetically him and real. :)
