I had really high expectations going into this book due to the hype of it. Me and hyped books tend not to get along since i put them on such a high pedestal when they keep getting 5 star reviews...

I think that the main reason that I am not rating this very high is because I couldn’t connect with Alex. He was too self absorbed and it was bordering on annoying. He was always looking at tabloids that he was in, and always making everything about him.

Henry, my sweet little prince, I felt for him. He had a hard time being a gay prince since royalty isn’t as openly accepting as the presidency...?

I really wish we had Henry’s POV during this story. This book was told in 3rd person and I was hoping we got to see in to Henry’s life. I think I would have enjoyed a break from Alex’s inner monologue.

Overall a cute read and I am glad I picked it up, and listened to it, but I don’t know if I will reread.... who knows.

i'd say it's like a 3.75 for me but 4 is close enough. i liked it! not joining my favorites or anything but it was good. a little millennial cringe here and there and a few too many pop culture references for my taste, but it was cute and funny and a good, quick read.

rereading this book and like really focusing on the characters instead of the plot was so much fun. Henry fox is actually the light of my life. And then i got to read the bonus chapter and fell in love with henry even more. i cannot believe he doesn’t remember the day of the leak and then the emails that he wrote were so incredibly vulnerable and it took him a lot to get to that point then boom all his deepest thoughts and fears and feelings just out for the whole world to see. i love this book so so so much it just makes my heart so incredibly happy
