The book is told through 3 people - Malin, Hanne and Jake. I didn't like Malin and found her really dull, however Hanne and Jake were fantastic complex characters. It's a slow-burning mystery and all the threads are tied up at the end. I love the sensitive portrayal of the boy who likes dresses, the woman who forgets, the immigration issues in Sweden, and Grebe's message at the end . Malin is the main reason I haven't given a higher rating.
