Thank you to the chief noisemaker, Jola Ayeye, for making this the June book club read. Short story collections always stump me so it took a while to finish. Nonetheless, I enjoyed this book and it had some really interesting stories.

What excellent short stories! Some of them weren’t as weird as I expected them to be, but that was the fault of my expectations and not the book’s.

The writing style was extremely readable and the author manages to paint such clear pictures of even the most bizarre things.

I’m excitedly waiting for more books by this author!
