This book was good but I listened to Cruel Crown first and it had a 4 chapter sample of glass sword which is the second book so I totally got spoilers and knew the ending  of Red Queen before starting it so I HIGHLY suggest reading Cruel Crown after Red Queen. It makes more sense to me to get background info on Cal's mom after being introduced to him and then we avoid spoiler.

This dystopian YA novel is like a cross between The Selection, Uglies, and The Hunger Games. For the most part, a pretty clean read. I enjoyed this book but it wasn't compelling enough to make me want to read the rest of the series.

Tiene un argumento bueno, conforme se va avanzando se vuelve un tanto neutro. Algunas escenas si tienen demasiado detalle, que uno puede perder el enfoque pero de ahí todo bien. El final un tanto raro, no me esperaba esa traición y menos del único al que se podía confiar.

I really liked the book! I suspected the plot twist from half of the book but the execution still surprised me! I need to start the second ASAP!
