Read as a Holiday advent calendar buddy read and I mean... it was fun, but predictable and cheesy. I was interested in the story despite it's predictability. What I hated was the ending, specifically the epilogue that seemed rushed. Sometimes it's ok to leave loose ends and not let us know that everything is wonderful and that everyone is still on love AND they finally followed their dreams... leave a little to the imagination

Cute and easy read for Christmas. It's like a Hallmark movie with a pinch of spice.

It may be hot outside, but this book totally got me in the mood for Christmas. Because of terrible circumstances two best friends switch their holiday vacations.

First of all, the best friend’s names are Holly and Ivy. So Christmas and so cute. I admired their friendship the entire book. They are the perfect example of what a true friendship should look like. They are adorable. This book is a dual pov and switches between the two of them and that’s one of my favorite ways books are written.

It felt like Christmas the entire time reading. Holly and Ivy are in two totally different places (physically and mentally) but everything about both of their stories gave off such a cozy Christmas vibe and it got me super excited for the holidays.

Tis the season for romance (duh). The romance in this book is so sweet. Although it’s forced proximity, the sparks are flying! It has just the right amount of spice that I like which isn’t much. I think I was smiling the majority of the read. It had the perfect amount of Christmas, romance, friendships, plot twists, everything! Add this to your Christmas TBRs right now! If you like Christmas, you’ll like this book.

The Holiday Honeymoon Switch is hands down one of the cutest books I’ve ever read! This story was a such a rollercoaster of humor and love. I absolutely LOVED Holly and Ivy’s friendship, they were so in sync and their bond was the true heart of the book. These two are literally "bury-the-body" besties, reminded me of Mary Ann and Wanda from the song Goodbye Earl! Their dynamic was hilarious and heartwarming.

When Holly’s fiancé leaves her with a nonrefundable honeymoon, she convinces Ivy to switch places with her and go in her place so she can work on her art. Holly’s decision to escape to Ivy’s rented Hudson Valley cabin for some much-needed healing was very relatable. We all need a little get away here and there to heal! The plot twists with Holly's ex-fiancé had me turning the pages faster and faster!

The romance in this book was so swoon-worthy. I especially loved Holly’s encounters with her rugged, glow-up high school rival turned Airbnb host. The chemistry between them would light a fire in any furnace and Ivy's holiday escape to Hawaii turned out to be much more than she expected, thanks to a super-hot hotel bartender who saves the day in the most unexpected and charming way.

This book is 5 stars without a doubt!
