I will admit I'm a little Christmas-romance'd out for the year, but this did not stand out to me among all the other holiday romances I've been reading. I've enjoyed some of this author's collaborations, but this one fell pretty flat compared to those. There was nothing actually wrong with this book, but the characters didn't feel super fleshed out to me and I found myself a little bored while reading.

The author's note sums this book up so perfectly: "this book is a holiday romance, but it's also a love Letter to friendship." It was very sweet, soft and tender, and inspired. I love that we get basically 3 storylines in one; a romance for both Holly and Ivy, and then the friendship between Holly and Ivy. I liked that there were holiday elements, but the main focus was personal growth, figuring out what's right for you, and cultivating a life that is more than doing what's expected of you but rather, what makes you happy. A very wholesome story, I definitely recommend!
