A redemption arc for Charlie
Charlie is such a complicated man and I’m glad he got the first standalone book. In this book he is isolating himself to protect others from himself (or so he believes). Enter Demi as she takes a bulldozer to the walls around his heart. Demi is awesome and I loved reading about her. It’s also so good to see the original Rydeville crew popping up across the story.

Charlie first appeared in Bully Me: Class of 2020, which contained a collection of novellas and prequels that would later be expanded upon. This is now the longer version of that original novella that contains more Rydeville. Savoring this longer story in a sort of reread gave me time to really dive into the Rydeville world and enjoy it even more.
Within the Rydeville series, Charlie held a pivotal role in the overall arc of Abby and Kai, but now the dust has settled and he is just trying to pick up his shattered life and living with the remorse he initially played.
Demi shockingly looks a lot like Abby, the girl Charlie had a crush on and the woman he thought he was married to, until things went to heck. Demi is also his assistant at the company where he has become the president since his father's death, also one more thing he feels remorse for. Charlie is basically a mess, but he also can't stop thinking about Demi, hence why he treats her like crap. If his life is a mess he doesn't want anyone around him to feel good either.
Demi is only working at Charlie's company because her father is very sick and it is the same company where he worked before he was let go after he suffered a stroke. She needs the job to afford his medical bills even though she is tormented every day by Charlie.
This story will gut you if you are a fan and have you looking forward to the next book in the series with anticipation.

I've never been so indecisive about a character in my life. I have been back and forth with Charlie Barron. First I loved him and then I hated him, then I felt sorry for him but then I disliked him. Boy it's been a conflicting journey with Charlie since the beginning of the Rydeville series. This book definitely redeemed him in my eyes. I'm grateful we got an explanation about Christmas night and I loved the small glimpses of the other characters and the epilogue. While I didn't love this one as much as the others (I think I'm used to more epic clusterfuck moments and ok I might have missed Jackson
Charlie
Rydeville Elite, Book 4
By: Siobhan Davis
Narrated by: Sarah Puckett, Michael Gallagher
Rydeville Elite brings out the best and worst in it's people. This story features Charlie who recently took over his family's company after the death of his father. His new assistant is a woman he recently hooked up with at a wedding. Not happy with this situation, he will do just about anything to make her life miserable. Demi isn't thrilled with her position either, but she is desperately in need of a job to help with her father's medical bills, and will not bend to his will. But what these to find is that there is a fine line between love and hate. Siobhan Davis continues to thrill me with her books. Each one is full of wonderful characters. I have say though, there were definitely times in this story that I was fed up with Charlie. The sign of a good story, frustration, excitement, relevant problems and passion all bring out my emotions and make me listen straight through finding out all the secrets and experiencing all the feelings. This is an amazing addition to the series.
Sarah Puckett and Michael Gallagher are the narration team for this amazing story. Puckett comes through as Demi. She is a strong woman with a lot happening in her life, and Puckett harnesses all the emotions bringing them to the front and bringing them to us. Gallagher as Charlie is the mean boss, and he is spot on. We do get to see his evolution and Gallagher is fantastic as he changes over time. Give this a listen, you will love it!

I’m so glad Charlie got a story. He needed to be redeemed and this couldn’t have been a better storyline for him. I love Demi. She’s everything Charlie needs. I love the cameos from our favorite elite friends. Epic enemies to lovers shorter story with the signature Siobhan twists and turns.

I loved learning more about Charlie and Demi (the woman he hooked up with on Christmas night). I found it to be a quick, engaging read, and if I am honest, the storyline could have been a bit longer for my tastes. I also would have loved a bit more grovelling, but knowing I can still immerse in these characters in further books in the series makes me happy. I felt all kinds of emotions at different points in the book, showing me how invested I was in the storyline. I am giving a rating of 4 / 5 Stars. I can't wait for Jackson's story next!

I had a soft spot for Charlie from the previous trilogy ... I mean HOW COULD YOU NOT?!
Thankfully we now have this book that’s all Charlie! <3
So many things I had questions about are answered here and honestly I still can’t get enough of this world!
Can’t wait until we get our hands on Jackson’s story!

I have to admit that right from the start of this series, Charlie and Jackson caught my eye. Don't get me wrong. I love Kaiden and the rest of the guys, but there's just something with these two that I can't explain. So, when Charlie started to be the "bad guy", I couldn't help but think, will there be a chance for redemption for him? Because I just refuse to believe that this will be the end for his character. Thank god, this book gave him the chance to redeem his self.
This was an enemies-to-lovers, with bully and office romance mixed in. I don't know what to think of Demi as his love interest though. You will have to read this book to know what I was talking about. Aside from that, I liked Demi's character. She's a very loving, responsible daughter with an admirable inner strength to her. These traits, I think was what Charlie needed in his life and for that, I guess, they are suited to each other. There was some drama that was taken care of swiftly and an impending threat from the elite that I'm betting we'll be able to see further in the series. Can't wait for Jackson's book!

Sweet Redemption
Oh Siobhan, you’ve done it now. I never thought I’d use the word love and Charlie in a sentence together.
We met Charlie back in Abby and Kai’s story and to say he was a hated man was an understatement.
Now, in his book we finally get into the head of one of Rydeville’s most hated.
There’s hot steamy sex, sweet loving moments, some forehead slapping anger...and let’s not forget this is Siobhan Davis we’re talking about here so prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor a time or two.
I can’t forget emotional...I’m not sure if it’s just me being my emotional self but that one scene had tears in my eyes.
After reading, I can safely say it’s been a complete 360 for my feelings for Charlie and he has been 100 percent redeemed to perfection. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

I am so glad Charlie got a redemption story. I was really surprised it was with the woman he “cheated” with, but I really love Demi. Charlie was a character I really liked, and was so upset when he turned out to be the asshole in the original story. And I’m glad Abby never gave up on him.
I’m excited for Jackson’s story!
