Really appreciated the dose of reality and suggestions in this book! I'm already implementing one and think I can pick up a couple of others, and will try for more when we move back to DC and I go back to work. I especially loved that it challenged the whole idea that we need to get more done and instead focused on reducing mindless time and habits.

I never wrote a review on this last year so it didn't count in my 2022 book total! However, I still find myself thinking about so many of the concepts introduced in this book. Nothing was super earth-shattering, but a few different tweaks of how to structure my week and think about bigger-picture goals can make a big difference. I loved the idea of effort-full fun before effortless fun and have introduced that idea to my kids - and they get it! I recommend this for anyone needing a little (gentle and encouraging) kick in the pants to make the most out of life.

Excellent, doable suggestions for time management. This was easy too read and Will be pretty straightforward to implement. My favorite roles were: one big adventure, one small each week; take one night for you; effortful before effortless
