Vinland Saga is about finding peace. It is damn good at telling you how Thorfinn gets there.

Sometimes pick up a Manga and smile, because it goes against the boring cliches. Is this the next berserk or vagabond? Just might be.
15-20 bucks for the mass amount of quality and quantity is perfect. The characters all feel well made, great art, well done pacing. Ends on a good note and makes you want volume 2, which I'm picking up tomorrow.

Я від усієї душі люблю цю історію. І час вже підходить до кінця першої арки українською, і два роки як виходить ця серія у нас від НІ. Це круто. Тож моє перечитання починається, і сподіваюсь не забариться.
A very unique manga. Although some of the characters were stereotypical, the setting was not, so it made the characterization flaws less obvious. Gorgeous art, too. Five for the art and concept, 3 for the characters...I'd say that balances out to a solid 4.
