I Want My Hat Back was cute. This one isn't. I wish I could say exactly why. Chemistry?
Not *quite* as good as I WANT MY HAT BACK but still hysterically funny.
Lesson learned: just because you want something, doesn't mean you should take it (especially from someone larger than you!)

OK, Jon Klassen is brilliant. How much can you say with one eye? A lot. I like how this keeps the motion moving from left to right (pages turning in a slow-motion animation of the simplest sort) while the text tells a different story that lets the reader feel in-the-know. Darkly hilarious.
