A clever story, This Is Not My Hat will suck you in from the first page. It is about a tiny fish who steals a hat. The illustrations are beautiful and constructed digitally with Chinese ink. As an adult, I love how dark this story is, but I think kids will miss this mood and find it to be simply delightful.

That was brutal. The endings of these books do not disappoint.
A little odd, but very imaginative. I love the pictures and simplicity.
Lots of great discussion can spring forth from this book, just like I Want My Hat Back. For some reason though, I found myself more fond of this one than the first one.
