Fish finds a hat that is not his. But it looks so good on him... So begins the second installment of Klassen's hilarious trilogy about hats. Recommended for both kids and adults.
I don't get it. I liked the style of the illustrations for this, but it's just one little tease spread out over the entire book. When I compare it to something like the pigeon, it seems pretty slight.
Ontzettend leuk verhaaltje dat perfect aansluit op het gevoel voor humor van een (jonge) kleuter.

Steal a hat, get eaten. Really? I guess I expect something a little bit different from my children's books including a Caldecott Award Winner. The art was well done and the writing snappy, but this is not something I'd go out of my way to read aloud. And not just because the perpetrator possibly gets eaten just off stage. But also because I don't like the perpetrator's attitude.
Kind of old hat at this point. Possible also more over kids heads than I Want My Hat Back.
