This book was so hard to get into. It felt a little bit like it was written for people who have never read a murder mystery and have no clue what is going on.
mysterious slow-paced

White male mediocrity. It could benefit from being more self-aware and even a little less tropey. Also WHO KILLED THE CHICKENS and WHY?

It wasn't terrible. But it wasn't great. For as smexually frustrated as Richard is, it would have been better if it was written as smut

Very cosy mystery novel. I love Richard, a very clumsy protagonist who’s just there for the vibes!
