my first tiktok-recommendation and I was a bit scared it would not live up to the hype, but it did 1000% ! Loved the grumpy/sunshine and the fake-to-real. It was just the right amount of cheesy and lighthearted, but written eloquently and earnest enough to warrant an interesting read.

I really liked this book. It was very sweet.
I dinged it half a star because I think the whole "the hero is actually a stalker" thing is super unhealthy.
And maybe I'm particular, but I'm not crazy about making comedies by having the characters do things that are actually insane. If everyone in this story acted like adult professionals, there would literally be no story at all. And the heroine is one of the worst offenders. Kissing a random dude in your workplace in order to deceive your BFF is beneath the dignity of a 9th grader. Or so I hope.

I loved this book. Mildly spicy and not too much of a slow burn!! I liked that it went straight into it. Fake dating and “let me at him” tropes. Loved it :)

I read this in one night and then read it again the next day! I really enjoyed it! It was a fast paced easy read.

I didn’t love how little confidence Olive had and how she would rarely say what she meant but the story was still good.
