The story between Adam and Olive is so cute! All the things they do and the reference that it’s turning into the stereotypical romance plot by the characters was so funny. I love their relationship
and the fact that they had met before when Olive was applying
. Even though there is an age gap it’s still quite cute. There was a quite graphic sex scene but it was kind of necessary to show the development of their relationship.
I like that there wasn’t really any point in the story when they hated each other but I kind of wished there was a bit more of it. Tom’s betrayal at the end was appalling the way he treated Olive and i’m a bit annoyed she didn’t realize she had taped it earlier
It was so cute and i loved it so much!

“Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated on a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope.”

Yesterday I bought this book by accident after I added to my wishlist on Amazon once I saw it was going to become a movie and honestly I’m so glad I finally got around to reading it after so much talk online! And before I get into Love on the Brain.

The fake relationship trope gets me every time even though the ending is usually the same but god I was so excited when Adam and Olive had that moment together and I even sent screenshots to @sundayspages late last night cause I was so excited. I wasn’t expecting the

I did not expect to like this book as much as I did but honestly I had such a good time reading it. There were times where I literally wanted to jump up and down squealing when reading this book. I loved the setting and the characters and the banter it all just worked together so well.
There was a miscommunication that led to a third act break up and as overused and annoying as that trope is I didn't even mind it. The fact that I didn't even mind the presence of my least favorite tropes is really telling of how much I like this book.
I think the fact that this was originally a fanfiction is what made me enjoy it even more. I love fanfiction and when I was reading certain parts of the book I could definitely identify the fanfiction influence which was so fun. This was just such a lovely, well developed, feel good book and I'm definitely gonna read more books by the author.

Crushing on the very new to me stemfem genre and the author.
A neuroscientist with cats alone would have sold me but I just found this enjoyable and light hearted regardless.
