Chris always amazes me with his ability to write from the female POV. This story was no different. Erotic Mayberry is enticing, exhilarating and exquisitely hot. I totally wasn't expecting how this story evolved. I'm still thinking about it. I wonder if we will get another book out of this intriguing little neighbourhood??? I know I'd love to read it!

Yes, it is just that HOT! This is the first book that I have read by Chris Genovese and it will not be the last.

Speechless!
I read so much that a book rarely shocks me, however, this book shocked me speechless! It has something for everyone. There is a storyline that I have never read before, there is incredible sex, so much emotion, all the kinkiness we love, sadness and a finale that made me..... pssst speechless! You really pulled off something fantastic Chris.

3.5 stars, I finished it in a day and it was super hot. Lots of sexy time and a few laughs as well. I wasn't a fan of the ending though, which dropped it a half star for me. I like a HEA and this isn't it unfortunately. I can't say I'd recommend it just because of that, or maybe I would for a friend looking for a bit of a twisted sexy book with no HEA.
3.5 stars. Ok, first off, this is an erotica novel full of graphic sex acts and some strong language so if this offends you then steer well clear. For the less prudish or those who enjoy erotica then this is, for the most part, an excellent read or listen. There is a good storyline along with the naughty bits, something that isn’t always the case in erotica.
I really enjoyed the story and the way relationships progressed, up until shortly before the end. Without trying to give too much away I was disappointed with the end of the harvest festival, a scene which I thought was completely unnecessary and spoiled the overall enjoyment for me which cost the story a higher star rating. Others may not feel the same and of course it’s the author’s choice but I felt there were options rather than this. You’ll have to read it yourself to find out.
Other than that one thing it is well written and well narrated and well worth a read/listen.
