Run on red

Solid 3.5 ✨ the beginning really held me in its grip. I was absolutely terrified. Then it started to become a little predictable towards the end. I was able to figure out who was one of the perpetrators pretty quickly, which is the only reason I deducted half a star.

This is stupid, so obviously ignore. But I expected there to be a lot more driving in this, and I think that might have initially sold me on this. There's isn't much driving.

Also, there is no 'running on red'. I have no idea where the title came from.
Also, also, and this is the stupidest point, but the model on the cover is 20 years older then our main character, resulting in a different story then I expected. I expected some Mam outwitting kidnappers all the way through Route 66 or something. This wasn't that.

In my defense I did blind buy and that's not the book or the authors fault.

Fast paced, on your toes book. I would of given 5 stars if the girls made better calls

This book started off REALLY good. I was genuinely really nervous reading the beginning part but that quickly faded as I kept going.
It was still an interesting book but not super memorable for me. I wish the fear and suspense would have continued throughout the book.

Also, I’m not sure why there were choices twice in the book which made it sound like you can choose the outcome by turning to different pages. When I went to those pages, there was nothing that really changed the storyline? So that was pointless and didn’t add to the story

I need to read more of her books! Gray After Dark literally gave me a nightmare and this one got my blood pumping! Super intense and nail biting. Kept rooting for the girls to get saved or run away and be safe! This hits so close to home for so many women today. I was little irritated at the ending because I feel like it was kind of predictable and maybe a bit rushed but still enjoyed it!
