This book started off so strong! I couldn’t even put it down, and I found myself holding my breath a few times.
A breakneck speed ride from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a calm, relaxing read - this ain’t it. If you’re even looking for a slow build thriller, this is NOT it. This one had me nervous through the whole thing to the point I kept having to set it aside for a day before coming back to it because it tore my nerves up.
What starts off as two college girls going to a frat party, turns into them being stalked on the side of a mountain in the dark - hours from home - by some mysterious men in masks.
I’ve realized that this type of situation, for whatever reason, is some sort of deep fear of mine. I’ve never been in a situation like this, but it just affects me SO badly anytime I read/watch this type of event happening. I think it’s the probability of being overpowered and being completely helpless that bothers me. Either way, it was stressful.

I really enjoyed the main character and that she wasn’t easily swayed by Tony’s behaviour and words. I really resonated with the main character which added to the enjoyment of the book with the just desert at the end. Really felt like this thriller/suspense was written for me :)

This book really had me on the edge of my seat! I was flying through the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen. Some of the plot twists were very predictable, but it was still an exciting, intense ride - I felt immersed in some of the dangerous portions of the book. Very much cat and mouse vibes throughout.

This book really made me so nervous in the beginning. I’ve read many horror and thriller books and for some reason I was spooked to read the next chapter. Something about people in masks hunting you down absolutely makes my skin crawl. I know many have their own opinions with books but I truly liked this one. The ending choked me up. Thanks Noelle, for another great read!
