What a gripping thrill ride! I wasn’t able to put this one down. The suspense was written greatly – it was very detailed and it didn’t feel rushed, and I was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. I feel that I am very much like Olivia – an anxious true crime junkie who is always expecting the worst while silently hoping for the best. There were a few choices that Olivia made that had me screaming at the pages, but in an intense survival situation, it is easy to justify what she did and why she did what she did In most suspense thrillers, I find there are often a handful of uber-predictable moments that just make me roll my eyes, but I loved every minute of this. I thought the book might take a cringey turn when There are so many true crime stories with truly evil perpetrators and I don’t much care for stories where that is downplayed and the violence just turns out to be a prank. This book was not like that – A great read!

I learned it was the fraternity responsible for their kidnapping, but it was very well-written, not predictable, and didn’t turn out to just be some college kids messing around.Spoiler
