This was supposed to be quite tense. It was a good, easy, read for a kindle unlimited book, but I didn’t find it too tense or thrilling, and it wasn’t particularly scary!

Really was not a fan of this book. It’s about two college girls who are driving to a party at a bonfire or something like that and end up getting run off the road by a truck that has been tailgating them and then two masked men pop out and attack them and they try to run away, etc. etc. I really don’t have much positive to say about this one… everything about it was just extremely boring. It wasn’t problematic or anything, just nothing enticing in any way. The characters were bland, the plot was overdone and uninteresting, the twists were nothing. Just generally a slog to get through which a thriller/suspense novel really shouldn’t be if it does anything right lol. No idea where I got recommended this one, but, terrible advice lol.

Run on Red is an edge of your seat thriller that can easily be read in one sitting (I did!). And while I did like the book, I had a very hard time connecting with the characters because there’s really no development. It’s just a story that takes place in one night during a very tense situation and readers are left hanging on for dear life with the characters. So, I suppose this is just a personal preference and not anything that the author did wrong. I just might need books that are spread out over time.
One really good thing I can say about this one is that the twist and the people behind the stalking really surprised me! I found it to be a unique and I certainly wasn’t expecting. It feels very relevant (you’ll know what I mean when you read it).
If you’re looking for a thriller that will pass the time for a few hours and want one that makes your heart race the entire way though then I do recommend this one. It’s available for free with kindle unlimited!

This book was very suspenseful and kept me interested. I think the storyline, in regards to why the men were after them was a little far fetched though.
