Truthfully, I was not a fan of this book. I will say the beginning had me going for a bit but after a while, it became repetitive and predicable. Towards the end I knew who and basically what was happening. I wouldn't recommend this book; however, I will read other books by this author. I believe authors get better after their first couple of books, so I am hopeful that Noelle's other works are more thrilling.

The story is fast paced and keeps you hooked to find out what happens, so A+ plus there for a thriller. The actual story isn’t super interesting and is a bit predictable, but there’s a certain comfort there when you know where it’s headed and are just enjoying the journey there. Solid read, would recommend but it won’t be the most memorable book you’ve ever read.
Felt very repetitive. I feel like the plot was extremely drug out. It was super predictable for me

Such a fast-paced read, with an unfortunately realistic, horrifying plot.

Holy cow, this might be the most intense thriller I’ve read. My heart was racing nonstop through the first 100 pages, and Ihli nailed the anxiety right from page one. I tore through 200 pages in a single day because I couldn’t put it down. The plot felt more layered than her other books, and I truly didn’t see the fraternity human trafficking angle coming. I also liked how it tied back to the missing person case at the start. And as stressful as it was, I appreciated the “happy” ending — definitely seems to be Ihli’s MO. Excited to pick up more of her work!
Moderate: Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Sexual assault, Trafficking
