This was definitely a page turner for me. I definitely live in my rear view mirror while driving. I always live with the fear that I am being followed, so this book was super easy for me to get into. With ever page I was rooting for these two girls to come out of this situation victorious. I was a bit disappointed with the ending, and the reasoning behind why the two “stalkers” were doing what they were doing to these two girls. Overall was a good, fast and easy read.

3.5⭐️⭐️⭐️, i liked it. I think im just used to more gore and anticipation so i just found it a little bit too predictable. It was overall a pretty good book

When I first started reading this book, I was ready for all the suspense, and that’s what I got right from the beginnibg. There were points where the anxiety inducing moments mellowed out, but the more I kept reading, the more it came back. Especially towards the end. Goodness, the final chapters! I didn’t even realize it but I did, and found myself actually breathing hard in anticipation and heart was beating really fast. This book was worth the read and i loved every second of it!

Good but honestly probably needed to be shorter.
Laura and Olivia are on their way to a bonfire deep in the woods with some college classmates of theirs. Only to notice they’re being followed on this isolated country road quite closely. Laura quickly writes off Liv’s concern about the car as paranoia from listening to too many true crime podcasts. Until the situation quickly unravels into a real-life nightmare. While this book was a fairly short 300 pages, the story just seemed to drag on for me. I found it to be quite repetitive and I think I would have enjoyed it more if it were closer to the 200-page mark. Overall, I did enjoy it and I found the story to be interesting, it did suck me in pretty quickly, but this wasn’t a couldn’t put it down thriller for me. I quickly guessed who the “bad guy” was and guessed about every plot twist. While this wasn’t quite the thriller for me, I definitely understand why many people enjoyed it. I do think the author did a great job with imagery and I could visualize the book playing out in my head, I just wish that the plot had been less predictable.
