This book was a “WTH?!” all the way. I was plowing through it by reading all of her berserk experiences with her psychotic mom. However, towards the end, I felt the author was trying to get too metaphorical, which caused me to get lost and confused when it came to her healing process. Lots of swearing. It was an interesting read.
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Racial slurs, Physical abuse, Gun violence, Panic attacks/disorders, Toxic relationship, Animal cruelty, Body shaming, Medical trauma, Child abuse, Forced institutionalization, Gaslighting, Suicidal thoughts, Bullying, Cursing, and Racism
