Easily one of my favorite reads of 2024 thus far. Andrew Joseph White knocks it out of the park again with a richly described world with its own unique systems, and a cast of diverse characters. Great mystery, unexpected twists and turns, and ghosts!

Masterpiece. So many instances when I felt like I was looking into a mirror.

Oh my god this might be the best book I’ve ever listened to. The character voices the way they should be, the rabbits voice, and the way the narrator handles the gruesome scenes. Such a good book!!

I really did enjoy this story. I was sceptical at first of the writing but then it grew on me. I would have loved a bit more horror elements but I am aware that this is for a YA audience.
And I do think there was some pacing issue, both story and relationship wise. I think this book would have been better if it lasted over a period of a couple of months instead of a few days.

Still amazing and highly recommend!
