I enjoyed this book but not quite as much as I did Wild Dark Shore. I found myself to be quite captivated from the start and didn’t want to stop reading so I could figure out what was going to happen next.
I was expecting a bit more of an emotional reaction based on some reviews I’d heard but I didn’t really have that. I still appreciated the way the end wrapped up, though.
I do think a bit more detail could’ve been offered in some areas like her time in prison, what ever happened to the rest of the ship’s crew after the boat was seized by the police, what happened to Ennis, etc.
