These books had so much potential! The whole plot idea was great but the ending was so disappointing! After four books, searching for the four talismans to reveal this great treasure, the story ends before we find out what this treasure is, it’s anti-climactic and not worth the time. If you want a great book series that does not have this issue, with well developed characters and great plot I would read the Secrets Of The Tombs series by Helen Moss, the idea of an archeologist’s child and their friend on digs being pit against adults trying to steal/ruin something is similar but far better executed.
