Brilliant, grotesque, novel, and straight up nasty. Wonderful strong female protagonist, truly hatable villains, and scenes to make you wish you hadn't eaten dinner. Rounded characters all, incredible science and folklore, and an enticing and constantly evolving plot. Strong recommend!
