I started watching the anime series and learned that I just cannot stand to watch the show with the long-spanning "tense" moments or action in which frames and conversations are repeated or slowed down a frustrating amount. I personally do not have enough patience to watch the show, but the story is interesting and I've found thus far that the pacing of the manga is much better for me and I look forward to reading the series as opposed to watching the show.

I never really read Naruto when I was younger, but I clearly remember that one of my friends really enjoyed them, so I decided I would give them a chance.
In this manga, we meet Uzumaki Naruto, who wants to become a Shinobi. However, because of the lack of attention he gets from almost everyone so he acts like a clown to get attention
I think this manga is okay, but I'm not sure how I feel about the series yet. So, for now, I will continue the series.

This is a review for the entire series, I decided to do a full reread in adulthood since it’s been quite a while.
The first part is absolutely amazing, one of the best things I’ve ever read. The second part is less so, there are a lot of issues I have with the choices the author made and such and I think that it could have been so much better, but none of it diminished my love for the series at all.
Naruto will always hold such a special place in my heart.

Gosh, what can I say about ninja? Well... I could say that I LOVE THEM TO PIECES!!!!! The ninja art, ninja way, ninja tricks, it's all there in my mind. Admittedly, I had my doubts when I first picked this up. My brothers were like, "you gotta read it, you gotta read it!" and I was like, "Um, ninja? SO CLICHE." and then I read it and I later begged for forgiveness because yes, it is that good. =) Who can't love the supposedly unloveable Naruto? Who can't hurt for the oh-so-angsty machinations of Sasuke? Who thinks Kakashi really is a pervert? Or that Sakura is really useless? NO WAY. Sakura is a strong, beautiful, amazingly self-disciplined young ninja who does everything she can to save her friends. Kakashi is the (SUPER HOT) teacher who'd rather die than let his friends die. And Naruto? Mmm, Naruto. He's the only guy in the world who's as clueless as guys can be and still make you think that there's hope for them after all. ;)

Read it to see what all the fuss is about with the kids these days and now I get it. Fast read (as manga is) and an engaging story.
