I don't know what it is, but this volume was just okay for me. I didn't think it was as funny as previous volumes, nor was I hit in the feels (even during THAT scene). I honestly have no clue why this is because I don't think it steered away from its usual formula nor did it try to shoehorn in anything bizarre or crazy. In any case, the takeaway from this review is that this was not a lesser volume in terms of structure, narrative, characters, art, or execution. This truly is a "it's not you, it's me" situation so take my average rating with a grain of salt.

This manga series will always have a place in my heart. It’s so comforting and easy to read, putting a smile on my face almost instantly. I feel bittersweet knowing that there’s only two more volumes but I’m excited to check them out none the less.
