oh i FLEW through this book
i love the author's writing style, it's so easy to read and the characters, even side ones, had so much personality and felt developed. i also love the world she created! all the alien races are so well-described, and the use of the seladin language was a nice touch :))

basically, this book is about an anxious plus-size human girlie who moves to an alien-filled city, ends up falling for a pleasure sim worker love is blind style, and he's basically a drow elf

and it is VERY SPICY
