honestly one of my most favorite romance manga of ALL TIME, also most re-read in my lifetime. this has everything i had hoped in a romance, minus maybe the prompt of an *almost-happening* teacher-student relationship. other than that, the main female character is endearing, the male protagonist made both happy and heartbroken in the same time, and even until the ending, it was all perfect ✨

It's officially over, and I loved every moment. I literally was on the edge of my seat thinking she'd end up back with Shishio. This author really loved tricking us at the last moment to make the reader suddenly relax into the comfort that she truly discovered her love for her sensei was just a childhood idealistic feeling of love, and that her heart truly belonged to Mamura. After all her sensei had put her through between emotional and mental trauma, I couldn't imagine their relationship lasting in happiness for either party involved. Promote healthy relationships kids!

can't believe I ate this up

I’m not happy but I understand. I honestly didn’t want Suzume to choose either. I think she needed time to heal herself before moving on with Mamura. I’m not upset with who she ended up with because I loved them both, but I think my main issue was with Suzume. She hurt both of them while trying to figure out her feelings when she should’ve only focused on herself and not drag them along. I don’t know, I’m not fully happy but I see the potential in how the story actually went I just don’t think everything was done in a good matter.
