I'm enjoying where this storyline is going. I think it's interested how they're flipping the publics perspective on vampires in this issue.

This volume had a pretty distinct shift in tone and story from the previous Season 8 volumes, and it was fun in its own (slightly gimmicky) way! The Satsu and Dawn issues were the strongest; they did a good job of continuing or wrapping up plot points from earlier all while developing the bigger picture (although Kennedy is mega-annoying here). Also three cheers for seeing more of the FaithxGiles team-up!! That issue felt like random filler but it was enjoyable to see them in action nevertheless. :)

Reading these just reminds me of how much I miss the TV show, and how much a graphic novel is not the same.

The Giles and Faith issues are the best ones, they warm up my heart so much! I think this was one the best ones so far, the dialogue took me back to the show many times

This volume was entertaining but didn't seem to push the plot forward all that much. We do get a resolution to Dawn's storyline, but it starts out with her in a puppet shop or something and I was really confused as to how she got there (that happens to me a lot with these graphic novels though). Later, you find out there's a huge significance to Harmony's story, so it actually DID push the plot forward even though it didn't seem to at first glance.
