Emotional rollercoaster

So happy for Damon & winter finally getting their little bundle of joy, made me laugh when he asked how long before she could get pregnant again. My heart broke for Erika, the weight of the secret she was carrying but I'm so glad michael did not disappoint. another great book.

As I read this series in order, I have come to love Damon and have become irritated with Michael & Rika.

When they went on the yacht to have a conclave, I was expecting more. It was just of Rika & Michael talking about their issues in front of an audience. The only good thing that came from their conclave were the necklaces Michael presented the girls with, which was inspired by Winter and her explanation of the guys, which Michael didn't even give credit to her if I remember correctly.

Considering how the relationship between Damon and Banks was before, in this book and Kill Switch, it feels like they're strangers and not siblings.

I don't know what high horse Rika is sitting on, but she needs to be knocked down a peg or two.

As the series goes on, Will keeps getting the shit end of the stick, and it breaks my heart. I look forward to reading Nightfall and hope I'm not let down anymore when it comes to Will.

A fun read to add to the collection between Damon's and Will's stories.

I liked being able to see Michael and Rika's relationship rekindled since we haven't gotten much insight into their relationship since the first book, Corrupt. I loved all of the revelations that came out. And I loved that bonus scene of the birth of Winter's and Damon's son.

I did not like how very blah Mischa and Ryen are in this series so far. I loved Punk 57 so much, and these books have them looking like the mayors of Boringville. I also felt like there was a lot of hype for all the things the group needed to talk about and then they talked about like two things. I wanted more!!!

Fun read. 3.5 stars
