im going to be honest with this one.

im not 100% sure about it.

i know its fiction and alot of fiction is a little out there...but this felt too much out there.

We're jumped into the story straight away, with Ellie going to a vampire club with her boss, Ian, ...who happens to reveal he is a vampire and owns the club.

There is a ton of sexual scenes in this - like most vamp stories, blood and sex seems to go together.

Ellie seems to accept it all so easy - too easy for a normal human woman.
Ian believes she is his Hunger mate - one being that can satisfy his blood lust...that is until he finds one night that he cannot stop drinking from her and almost kills her.
Jasper, his "second in command" comes to her rescue, and takes her to his home. The only way to save her is to turn her.
Ellie accepts this so easily too.
Upon waking turned, she finds her connection to Jasper is tenfold stronger than that of her and Ian.
She isnt Ians hunger mate - shes Jaspers.

dont get me wrong, im ok with sex in books, but this seemed to be mostly sex and blood with a story on the side. Ian and Jasper share Ellie, and Ellie seems happy with that, which i dont know, i find a bit far fetched, but maybe not.

it was a quick read, like i say most of it is sex and blood, and after the first few sex scenes its a bit repetitive and left me wanting more of a story...and flipping past the blood and sex.

I would pick up the next book, if there is one, just to see if any of the writing is different, and if the story takes precedent over the blood and sex.

read on behalf of tasty tours for an honest review

Re-Read April 2017 -

as I was reading this I thought it founded familiar!
now I know why....

but my initial review is exactly the same as how I feel about it now. read in literally hours, little thinking required and quite s bit skim read.

What's the point of having the one who sates the Hunger if your going to share this jewel that you've searched centuries for??

A lot of "oh more sitting at a table getting the girls boobs out and having sex" AGAIN and AGAIN.

Not sure I'd read the next book if given a chance....!
