This might be the first book I’ve ever read that is truly a gay Hallmark movie in tone, plot, and feel. I mean, artisanal cheese maker from Vermont and a business consultant from Boston? I’m pretty sure I’ve watched that movie before but with a way less charming man in one of those roles. There were certain moments that felt a bit clipped, like a broader explanation or description would help, but on the whole it was silly, funny, sexy, and wholesome (which I realize sexy and wholesome is an oxymoron, but I promise it’s true). Complete bubblegum for the brain and I loved it.
