I think Iiked book for the same reason many people didn't.
It was very raw and emotional, dispersed with personal anecdotes from the author throughout. I could see how these characters are pieces of the authors own psyche and self, how they represent his evolving relationship with gender and sex.
To me it was an incredibly nuanced depiction of trans/nb characters, beautiful though very grotesque. I related to many of the characters despite their dubious actions, I wholeheartedly recommend this manga.

Consider before reading that the characters are young and flawed, morally iffy, and there is quite a lot of graphic sexual content that is relavent to the story- but very jarring and unnerving.

Okay I know people really hated this book but honestly it was just what I was looking for. It’s weird it’s twisted it’s uncomfortable it’s down right confusing but it’s really really good. You know how some people LOVED killing stalking? This is my killing stalking.
