I liked this issue a lot - the Helms and Valdes stories, and particularly the Vo, were my favorites. The Drnovšek Zorko essay also gave me food for thought.

This was a solid issue. My favorite story was "A Magical Correspondence, to the Tune of Heartstrings" by Valerie Valdez, and I also really enjoyed John Scalzi's essay on Godzilla. Having read Neom and Central Station last year, it was also fun to read "The Robot" by Lavie Tidhar, which is set in that same universe, though as a story, it was just okay.

Favorites for me in this issue were Lavie Tidhar’s “The Robot” and Annalee Newitz’s “The Best-Ever Cosplay of Whistle and Midnight”.
