This was a fantastic book and a very satisfying end to the series. Will definitely be reading them all  again.

Speaking Bones puts a nice bow on the Dandelion Dynasty. Storylines are brought to a close in a satisfying way. There were some character arcs that I wanted to end differently, but Ken was very deliberate about how the story was presented so it makes sense. The political maneuvering is some of the best I've read and the technical marvels that they managed to put together are fun to read about. From Book 1 - 4 this series will hold your attention. It's slow-paced, but everything has a reason and by the time you get to Book 4, it all makes sense. A very satisfying conclusion to this silkpunk fantasy series.

Yeah ok fiiiiiiine, that was great.

There were a lot of lame things, and I was quite annoyed by the lack of convergence between Thera's plotline and literally everything else going on in the book. But she did get to return to Dara in the final 10 mins of the book so fiiiiiiiiine, I'm not mad anymore...

This series was great fun and I'm kind of sad it's over. It definintely could have been stretched out longer... but I suppose it's better that it had an ending....
