Watched the movie first and loved it. The movie was very loyal to the graphic novel
I read this book in an hour - which is hardly indicative of its depth and impact. Adrian Tomine writes and illustrates very simple yet very powerful vignettes of 30something life. Funny, sarcastic, sad and sometimes cruel. Just the way I like 'em.

For a gn which has awesome reviews, I had higher expectations for it.
Whiny Asian guy with a small penis whines about everything and self-sabotages his life. Depressing, but I had a hard time identifying with the main character, as I am not Asian, a man, a man with a small penis, or whiny. Although, I guess I'm whining about this.
Third read, and…hmm. Maybe time to finally sell this copy.
