Shortcomings

A quick, painful exploration of the ellipses at the end of a relationship that ought to have ended, and the grey areas of race and racial identity in the Asian-American community. I enjoyed it despite not really feeling all too attached to any characters; and in fact, I mostly felt like the exaggeration of their flaws really kept me from wanting to like them too much. The artwork was crisp and evocative, and the subtle nuances of their facial expressions were really cinematic.
