Me gustó mucho esta segunda parte aunque no está a la altura de la primera. Sinceramente ya sabía que no iba a ser tan emotiva como el primer libro, pero me sorprendió para bien. Pensé que iba a ser la típica historia en la que luego de que los protagonistas terminan juntos en la primera parte, terminan teniendo problemas de pareja y todo volviéndose súper dramático, pero por suerte no fue así. En esta segunda parte tenemos una evolución de muchos personajes, sobretodo de Ella y eso me encantó. No le pongo más puntuación porque a pesar que fue una historia bonita, esperaba algo que me provoque las emociones del inicio.

Teil 1 war richtig gut - hier der Teil 2 hingegen völlig überflüssig. Die Story ist nicht richtig durchdacht und stellenweise ist es richtig unangenehm die Szenen zu lesen. Eine Fortsetzung hätte man besser bleiben lassen 🫣

I enjoyed the first installment of this series, so I figured I try out the sequel. I liked it too. Another set of issues, with another HEA. I think though, that this really just goes to show that it's never REALLY a happily EVER after. There are always going to be more struggles. Not that that's any profound wisdom or anything, but with a "cinderella" story sometimes you like to think that everything from then on is smooth sailing.
Like the first book, this was also available in AudibleEscape, with the same narrator. The text was available in KindleUnlimited, but I never turned to it, staying with audio the entire time. Still struggled a little with the Boston accent ... only there for the "ah" sounds (car, heart, start, etc).
While not anywhere close to some of the "literary porn" found in Audible Escape, this did step it up a notch from the first book. Lots of focus on Ella's virginity and fear of letting anyone see her scars.
Again - a little too wrapped up, HEA, but an enjoyable, fluffy, easy to listen to, quick read.

Such a cute story
Please tell me there will be another one! The readers deserve the after of the happily ever after! Anyways, this was such a cute story. I love how real and raw it is. The character development in this one was so good. I really hope there's a next one!
