This book has forever reframed my perspective on what it means to live the both/and life.

A rich read (and a good listen in audiobook, narrated thoughtfully by the author).
Ramsey writes candidly, thoughtfully, and hopefully about faith in the midst of suffering while she's in the midst of long-term chronic suffering herself. She's candid in sharing about her struggle with God and faith and the church in the midst of her account that "is not a before and after story;" she's thoughtful in drawing theological and physiological wisdom from others who have gone before and/or walk beside her; and she's hopeful as she thinks and writes with a bigger perspective than the moment.
Her focus on the importance of embodied theology and living results in a book that's deeply grounded and helpful.
(full disclosure: the agency I'm a part of represents K.J. and this book)
