Don’t ask me how, but Jake Maia Arlow reached in and plucked this book from the depths of my psyche, or something. Read this to heal your inner chronically ill repressed gay seventh grader

Tween adjusting to her life after being diagnoses with Chron's.

as a jewish lesbian with anxiety and crohn's disease this book means everything to me. the crohn's disease aspect alone would have made me cry as literally no one writes fiction about it (at the very least in a compassionate light) but the additional bonus of everything else makes me feel like this book was written just with me in mind.
