As usual, another great book from Robin. I wasn’t really sure about this one given it had one topic (moss) but was much longer than The Serviceberry. It was amazing though. She tied together reflective essays with interesting facets on moss and how it grows and the importance it plays in the environment and culturally.

I love moss and I was so excited to learn more about it academically from Robin Kimmerer. But beyond dry knowing, Robin passes so much spirit and real knowledge about the world and moss in ways western science frameworks cannot encompass. I love this book and it has inspired me to walk around with a loupe aweing at moss beyond their somatic experience on every hike. <3
