Well, this was a bit of a let down compared the the books focused on Jon and Donovan.

The sort of romance was a bit too fast. And I really would have liked them to be settled in Nashville before leaving them.

AJ Sherwood is easily one of my favourite authors and this book was a nice choice to get me out of my reading funk. It was nice to see Jon and Donovan again and this one was a bit on the short side but I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Mediums, a hotel and a snow globe?

This last book in the SnowGlobe series was utterly adorable.
We get to see Jonovan from a different perspective and we FINALLY get to meet Brandon properly.
The mystery is a cross between the Shining, Supernatural and other more lighthearted Scoobydoo mysteries.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the by play between Brandon and Donovan was fun. Brothers who act like brothers.

The relationship aspect of this book was just as fast as Jon and Donovan. Brandon and Mack knew right away. In other series, this insta love might not have worked but because Donovan introduced us to his protective ways, it works for Brandon.

I think this book was a little light on details (considering Jon’s mysteries) but being a novella, I’m okay with it.

If you haven’t read Sherwood’s Jon’s mysteries, this is a good jump off point.

2.5 stars. A weaker start than I had hoped for this series. The premise is good, but their relationship was too instant. At least with Jon and Donovan, there was the excuse of Jon seeing everything about Donovan at first glance because of his gift. Brandon and Mack don’t have this kind of ability.

I don’t know, it just didn’t work for me. Too little good to weigh up for it too. I was so bored by the sex scene. No sparks. I hope it gets better.

This was a fun introduction to the new spin-off series. Great to see Jon and Don again, though there wasn't really any reason for them to stick around after the opening scene. There's a haunted snow globe, but not much plot or conflict here. You're really just meeting the characters.
