Wow, what a fantastic story!

I read this with my 10 year old and basically had to fight every night about whether or not we should read more or go to sleep (sometimes I won, sometimes he did...)
adventurous inspiring

It’s like junior Lord of the Rings and I couldn’t get enough! Loved the faith elements as well!

I LOVE THIS BOOK. Only thing is that it is hard to get into but after like half way it’s so good. Same with the second but third AMAZING.

We enjoyed this book as a family. My only complaint was the names of characters, which seemed silly. The ‘Fangs of Dang’, the ‘Dark Sea of Darkness’, and ‘Gnag the Nameless’ ... plus some words were unclear how to pronounce, making reading aloud awkward ... it took me a while to really get into the story itself; because of the names I didn’t take it seriously. In the end I am glad we persevered and look forward to the next book in the series.

Funny, smart, and hair-raising, On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness is an amazing book that is exciting for almost any age. Meet the Igibys discover their secrets and find what has been hidden for so long, the truth. Are you ready?

A fun children's adventure fantasy story. A little slow to start and uses a little much of the "the kids are in danger, the kids are safe, the kids are in danger again" type of writing. But it was very enjoyable and I look forward to reading the next book!
