Only issue I really had was the pace was a little slow at some points. But I think even in those parts, the information was necessary to the story. Had a really good build up, and I think a really good ending.

This one really scared the crap out of me if memory serves me

This was my first Dean Knootz novel. It was exactly what I was looking for a gory, gruesome time at a carnival. It started from the first chapter and wrapped up at the end really nicely. It was a perfect read for spooky season.

The story started strong and promising, then it became weaker till the end. I like the theme of fun house and freaky people though.

Dean Koontz somehow turns a fun slasher into a tedious boring sermon told by a drunk randy preacher.

I read just shy of 100 pages. It's a pseudo adult version of Goosebumps. Not my kind of book; I won't bother picking it up to finish it.

I liked it the first time I read it, but after reading more Dean Koontz I realize this isn't original but the same thing he likes to write over and over again.
