I was really surprised how good this was. Building sense of menace, nasty characters and great climatic showdown. Take a trip to the carnival soon!

I watched the movie and then realized I had the book on my bookshelf. But as always I read the book and listened to the audiobook while at work. The Funhouse is a good movie. But the excessive screaming irritated me.
the book and audiobook are fantastic. I loved the feel of fear this book gave me even though I knew what was going to happen and what terror these characters would go through. I recommend reading/listening to the book and then watching the movie.

i love dthis book! it is a light read with just the right amount of horror! it is like you r reading a mmovie script its really great!

Of all Dean's books, this one freaked me out the most...not sure why, but I usually re-read his books once or twice and this one was a one time only for me.

I wanted far more at the end of the book - like what Amy and Joey said to their mother after all of this went down.

I was not impressed with this one. I love Dean Koontz normally but I found this predictable and boring. Not the worst thing I've ever read but not one I would read again.

The audio version of this book was a painful listen. I may try the print version, so I can finish it. Maybe not...

I was surprised after reading the prologue to find the book contain such a good plot. I had not anticipated the story line to go as it did and that made me like this book. However, I found the ending less than what I had hoped.
medium-paced
